Now that Kate is walking, excuse me, running everywhere....we have a gate just about everywhere. Since we have two flights of stairs in the house, we have gates at the bottom and top of all of those. Now that the Christmas tree is up in the office, we have had to put a gate in there too. The first day, excuse me, hour that the tree was up, Kate broke two glass ball ornaments and cut her finger on one. You gotta have long legs around this house to walk over all the gates...hehe!!
