Just when I thought I was done painting, I decided to knock out these bulit in bookshelves. It will be nice to have the sea foam green gone!

Projects....
We have a MILLION little projects to do at the new house. Jason sanded down these lockers so we can paint them with chalkboard paint. They are going in the laundry/mudroom area. Jason's office gave them away in a raffle and he won! We thought they would be great for the three kids and all their "stuff".

Nolan
Nolan is becoming a LITTLE bit more independent! He will sit in his saucer or Bumbo chair for 5-10 minutes. He loves to put toys in his mouth and of course his hands in his mouth. He still loves his sisters entertaining him. Addy finds new ways to make him laugh all the time! Kate tells everyone we see/meet that "we call him chunky monkey"! He is still the prince of the house! We love our Bubs!

Super high....
So besides the two powder baths, the only painting we had left were the very tall rooms. I am not sure how high the ceilings are, but I know they are 20+ feet high. We got an estimate on painting the three tall rooms and it was super expensive, so we decided to brave it ourselves! It was quite the emotional roller coaster for me. I started out by myself on tall ladders, rolling scaffolding, and scaffolding walk-ways that rests in between two tall ladders. Jason ended up stepping in and doing the really high parts that I was just too nervous about doing. I was in tears watching him because I was so afraid of him falling. Finally, a guy named Dan that we hired to do some patch work and wall paper removal volunteered to do the highest parts. He has had a lot of experience painting and painting on scaffolding. I was a nervous wreck when he was up there too, but we got it all done. I am so happy we got it done. We have one more tall area to do in the breakfast room and we will be finished with the 'tall rooms'. The carpet is getting installed starting Monday, so I have a few little jobs to do before then, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. The island cabinets are in and getting installed next week. After that, the granite can be installed. Some furniture is getting delivered next week. We ordered some light fixtures for the kitchen and breakfast room that should be in in time for the electrician to install them next week. The columns on the front of the house were replaced this week. The tile in the laundry room was put in this week. On top of all of this madness, they are coming next week to take pictures of our current house so that we can get it on the market. Yikes....I am so nervous about rounding three kids up (well, 2 kids if Addy is at school) for all the showings! I am also nervous about keeping the house clean all the time in the middle of a move. But I just try to keep telling myself, it won't be crazy like this for long. If we can just plow through this chaos a little longer, it will die down in a month or so. I am sorry that I don't have anything more interesting to write about, but this remodel is our life 24/7! I am super proud of our family because we have stuck together through all of this madness! It is a testament to our marriage and family unit because everything that we have been through in the last three months is insane!!!! On a side note, Nolan had his four month check up last week and he is doing great. He weighs 17.8 lbs and is 26 inches long. He is in the 90%ile for height and weight!! Chunky Monkey! He got three shots and an oral vaccination. Even after three kids, it is so hard to watch your babies cry in pain :( The de Wolfe clan is hanging in there, if only by a thread, and hope to have some great pictures and stories to tell when it is all said and done! Stay tuned....
